INTERVIEWER: Please give us a brief bio about yourself?
QUEEN ABISOLA: My name is Ogungbayi Abisola. I'm 22 years. I'm a model based in Ibadan. I love food, music and dance. I love meeting new people and I love kids. I'm the first child with two brothers
Oooh I love movies too. I hate lies and being kept waiting because I'm a punctual person.
INTERVIEWER: A model?? Wow... Tell us about works you've done pertaining to modeling before
QUEEN ABISOLA: Okay. If you check my Instagram handle @geraldyn__ You'll see some of my pictures. I've been modelling for almost a year now and I can say I've had over twenty shoots with different photographers.

INTERVIEWER: Okay, with what I understand, modeling is more than photoshoots. What I mean is, which company have you branded for?
QUEEN ABISOLA: Well the photoshoots help build my portfolio and make me better. But like I said, I started modeling just last year so I haven't worked with any company yet. Just photographers, make-up artists, Hairstylists, weave sellers and clothes designers.
INTERVIEWER: Wow!!! That's cool. Way to go. What do you have to say to the organizers of MPPN
QUEEN ABISOLA: You have a nice initiative going on. But the next contest, Voting should be made easier. There are platforms where after sending the text, the money is removed directly from your account. The whole transferring process and texting after discouraged a lot of people. And there was the issue of fake likes. But I like the fact that it's not just about the crown. I'm super excited for the projects coming up. And how I'll be representing the brand
INTERVIEWER: What are the challenges so far before emerging as the international Queen?
QUEEN ABISOLA: Well I'm not used to online contests so it was quite challenging. I had to convince quite a lot of my friends that the contest wasn't a scam as I have never heard of monetized voting. Then getting people to vote on IG was not easy because people are quite lazy when it comes to clicking on links. I had to follow up on people every day. There was a point at which I went to the mall with a friend to get people to vote with their phones. I was constantly on my toes, monitoring my opponents too. I'm glad I won because I put in a lot of time, effort and money into this.
INTERVIEWER: How do you feel presently?
QUEEN ABISOLA: Well now that I won, I can't wait to be coronated and to do what's expected of a good ambassador
Am quite aware that the E-votes was quite stressful and demanding,
INTERVIEWER: Do you have anyone who supported you in particular you really want to appreciate
QUEEN ABISOLA: Of course! More than one actually
INTERVIEWER: The floor is open please, let them hear you
QUEEN ABISOLA: Okay I'd like to thank Faith and Tosin first. They reposted my picture almost every day, they tagged people, they did the paid voting twice too when it seemed I was losing. Then there's Ayotope, Ayomikun, Tomisin, Diwura, Itunnu, Tunde, Femi, Esther, Jumoke, Seyi, Fisayo, David, Dillys Ademikanra, Presh, Timi, Tunmise, Adetunji, Eniola, Tobi etc. I honestly can't mention everyone but I'm very grateful
INTERVIEWER: Who's your boyfriend among the above aforementioned
QUEEN ABISOLA: Lool I don't have a boyfriend
INTERVIEWER: That's strange, with this dashing Melanie body of yours. Or are you protecting him from the media?
QUEEN ABISOLA: Lol, nah
INTERVIEWER: OK, let's move from that. Can you tell us briefly about your pet project?
QUEEN ABISOLA: I wanted it to be about children and education because those two are quite important. I wish I could do more actually. Majority of children in Ibadan are not in school. So, the ones that are schooling, I want to make sure they finish at least the most basic form of education by providing those materials. I also want to encourage them.
INTERVIEWER: Have contested before?
QUEEN ABISOLA: No I haven't
INTERVIEWER: And yet you won. That’s good!! I believe you are coming out strongly next time?
QUEEN ABISOLA: Infact, more strongly strongest…lol, if there is anything like that.
INTERVIEWER: Thanks. It was nice having you
QUEEN ABISOLA: Likewise šŸ˜ƒ
